HIGH REYNOLDS PROFILES (GA & TRANSPORT)

NACA Airfoil Profiles

What are NACA Airfoils?

Developed by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, these profiles are defined by mathematical equations allowing for precise aerodynamic analysis.

NACA 4-Digit

Simple profiles defined by max camber, position, and thickness. E.g., NACA 2412.

NACA 5-Digit

Advanced profiles for specific lift coefficients and camber positions. E.g., NACA 23012.

NACA 6-Series

Laminar flow airfoils designed to minimize drag at high speeds. This tool uses exact NASA TM 4741 specifications.
